The villages of Barsham, Shipmeadow and Mettingham are served by the Border Bus 580 service which runs along the B1062 from Bungay to Great yarmouth via Beccles and the James Paget Hospital.
The service runs Monday to Saturday peak times (excluding Bank Holidays) at roughly hourly intervals. Connections are available in Beccles, and Bungay for onward travel to Halesworth, Southwold, Harleston, Norwich and Diss.
